We’ve had enough of the snow and ice, so we welcome the arrival of spring this month. Our artists created enchanting images of flowers, birds, skies – bright colors in painting, glass, jewelry and photography.

A contemporary all-media juried show featuring a variety of media including mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and ceramics. Marcia Chaves’ solo show features new paintings by this Fredericksburg artist who is well-known for her paintings of local scenes.

Spring is a time of awakening. The days stretch longer, the air softens, and the landscape transforms into a vibrant tapestry of rich greens and tender new growth. In Verdant, we imagined the gallery immersed in the richness of green itself: the color of possibility, vitality, and transformation. Whether expressed through botanical imagery, abstract explorations of color, symbolic representations of growth, or textures that echo nature’s abundance, these works capture the essence of a season defined by renewal.
